Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. In her final year she worked as a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. She has worked in various other television shows apart from acting. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two of her siblings within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post previously married Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post is a source of inspiration for numerous Hollywood actors because she is an outstanding actress, as well as perfect wife and mother.
