Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. In her final year she worked as a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut.
