Annet Mahendru
Mahendru a Russian Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluent German, Russian and English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and mother of a Russian mom. In her early teens, she choreographed an act that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden who transforms into a lively Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was successful and was awarded a bachelor's degree from the Department of English from New York. After high school, she attended classes in acting at HB but left for improv in Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and an Russian-speaking mother Olga. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13 years old. She is a star alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. TV actress best known for her role as an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
